Yamaha Aerox MotoGP Edition surprises scooter lovers

The globally acclaimed Yamaha Aerox 155 was launched in India in September last year. It was available in several color options as well as the attractive MotoGP Edition. But last February, the special edition model of the maxi scooter was completely sold out. The MotoGP Edition was again thought to not be launched in the domestic market.

However, we have already come to know from our report that Yamaha has brought back their Aerox MotoGP Edition in the Indian market, surprising everyone yesterday . But the question may arise in the mind of many people, how much is the difference of MotoGP edition from normal Aerox, this report is for them.

The main difference between the special edition and the regular Yamaha Aerox is the livery of Yamaha's Monster Energy MotoGP team. Although the main color is black, the maxi scooter has a visual theme, colors and graphics similar to Yamaha's MotoGP sports bike on the visor, front apron, mudguard, side panel, and rear panel. Again blue color accents can be noticed in various parts. Apart from that, no other changes have been made to the scooter. It is available in Metallic Black, Racing Blue, and Gray Vermillion color options in addition to the MotoGP Edition.

Talking about the performance, it gets a 155cc liquid cooled engine from Yamaha Ar15. Which produces 14.79 bhp of power and 13.9 Nm of torque. Comes with CVT transmission system. Note that the Yamaha Aerox MotoGP Edition has been priced at Rs 1.41 lakh (ex-showroom). That means you will have to pay Tk 2,000 more than the base model.
